Who are you saving?

How to play

  1. Pick your critters. Huts, capybaras, baby penguins, the blob, or your own pet's photo.
  2. Place your walls. Tap the glowing pads. Tap a wall again to pick it back up. The faint dashed trail shows where the lava heads first.
  3. Hit Erupt. The lava pours down and sideways, never uphill. Near misses go slow-mo.
  4. KABOOM. Save them all for ★★★. Any star unlocks the next level, and your first ★★★ unlocks golden walls, then blue lava.
  5. Daily Eruption. One shared island a day, the same for everyone. Your first run is your official score to share.

Turn your sound up for the KABOOM. On iPhone, flip off silent mode.

    The Legend of Kaboomcano

    ACHOO!

Out in the ocean lives Kaboomcano, a big, dramatic volcano. He isn't evil. He's just got the world's worst allergies, and every single day he sneezes lava.

    HEY!

His island is home to chill capybaras, lost baby penguins, wobbly pink blobs and little huts with faces. None of them can outrun lava.

    3 WALLS

That's where you come in, Lava Keeper. You get three rock walls. Drop them right, steer the lava, and save everyone before the KABOOM.

    ONE SHOT

Each day the whole world gets the same island and one official shot. And they say if you ever save everyone… the lava turns blue.

    Become the Lava Keeper 🌋

    Every run is a clip

Tap Save clip and get a vertical 9:16 replay of your eruption, slow-mo near misses included, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. Clean clip mode leaves the name off the video so it's ready to post.

Then tag a friend: "I saved you from the lava 🌋"

    Free. No pay-to-win.

Kaboomcano is free to play. An optional Island Pass ($2.99/mo) adds monthly cosmetics, no ads, bonus modes and clip extras. It never helps anyone win, so the daily score is fair for everyone.
